Sharing the s136 Form with Colleagues
You can share the form with colleagues at any point. There are different ways you can share the form.
- You will need to confirm a response to if you require ongoing police presence before you are able to share the form within eMHA.
- Once you have confirmed police presence, you will see a 'Send' button in the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
- Enter the email address of the person or team you want to send it to. You can send it to people/teams without an eMHA account as well.
- Add the email addresses and click 'Send'.
- Please ensure you send completed s136 forms to your local MHL teams.
Forwarding the email notification
- You can forward the email notification with the 'View and Action' button to colleagues.
Both colleagues with and without eMHA accounts will be able to access the form from the link in the email notification.
Searching for the patient record on eMHA
- Once you have accepted the s136 form by confirming the POS details, it will appear in the team caseload.
- This means colleagues will be able to see and access the form in the team caseload.
- It will also be available for colleagues across your organisation if they search for the patient details in eMHA.
- They can search for the patient record by going to 'Search Patient' and entering the patient details.
Please note: the patient record will not have an NHS number until it is reconciled into the correct eMHA record linked with Rio/Spine, so colleagues should search for the record using demographics rather than an NHS number.
