Updating Your s12 Profile

If you are a s12 approved doctor and your account has been configured to allow you to submit claims for s12 work, you will need to update your profile with relevant information. This will allow AMHP teams to see your availability and contact you for assessments when relevant. 

On your profile you will have four sections to complete. You will have to ensure you have completed at least the accreditation, schedule, location and specialism sections to be found and contacted by relevant AMHP teams.

Keeping this information up to date is important as AMHPs may use these filters when searching for a suitable doctor for an assessment.

Accreditation

Schedule 

Default working hours:
  1. Set your default working hours by marking which time slots you are available on the 'Default Working Hours' calendar.
  2. These act as a ceiling — you're only shown as available when both your working hours and calendar agree.

Connecting your calendar: 
  1. You can connect an external calendar, such as Google, Outlook, or Apple Calendar, by clicking Connect Calendar
  1. If you do this, your eMHA calendar will block out timings which are in your individual calendar automatically
  2. You can remove or add another calendar if needed by clicking Manager Calendar 

Your Upcoming Availability: 
  1. At the bottom  of the page you can see your upcoming availability. This is what AMHPs will see when looking for available doctors.
  2. This will show you your availability for the next four weeks.
  3. You can manually override time slots by clicking Override this week. You will also then have the option to mark yourself as unavailable for this week (if you are on holiday for example).




Location 

  1. Enter your home location and select the correct address from the drop-down list. To use your professional address instead, click Use my professional address
  2. Set your maximum travel distance by entering the hours and minutes you are willing to travel for an assessment
  3. Enter the local authorities where you are available to work in
Your home address will be used to calculate how far you are away from assessment locations. Your exact home address will not be shared with AMHPs.

Specialisms 

  1. Add your specialisms by clicking the add specialism search bar (e.g. Eating Disorder Psychiatry)
  2. Record your level of expertise in each specialism

About 

  1. Select your gender identity from the drop-down list
  2. Enter the languages you speak
  3. Indicate whether you have a trust affiliation or work only in an independent context

Contact 

  1. Enter your mobile number, as this is a mandatory field
  2. Choose whether to enable contact by email or text
  3. Save or update your preferences as needed
