Viewing & Exporting the Activity Log and Patient Log in eMHA

Activity and Patient Logs in eMHA

The Activity Log in eMHA provides visibility or all actions taken on a specific form or admission.

The Patient Log in eMHA provides visibility into actions taken on the patient record of a specific patient. 

Both the activity log and the patient log can be exported to share outside of eMHA.


How to Access the Activity Log

Step 1: Find the relevant patient

You can do this from your Caseload, by searching on eMHA, or by clicking through from RiO if your eMHA is linked to your EPR.

Step 2: Find & open the relevant form or MHA assessment

Within the form or assessment, click the “Activity Log” button.

You will be presented with a chronological list of user actions, including names, timestamps, and activity descriptions.



How to Access the Patient Log

Step 1: Find the relevant patient

You can do this from your Caseload, by searching on eMHA, or by clicking through from RiO if your eMHA is linked to your EPR.

Step 2: Click the Patient Log button

Within the patient record, click the “Patient Log” button.

You’ll be presented with a chronological list of user actions, including names, timestamps, and activity descriptions.



Exporting the Activity Log or Patient Log

  • Open the relevant activity log or patient log

  • Click the 3 dots in the upper right-hand corner

  • Choose the format of export

Logs in eMHA can be exported in CSV & PDF formats or copied to the clipboard to paste elsewhere.

Please only download patient identifiable data in line with your organisations internal policies.
