Undo Legal Scrutiny (MHL users only)
Overview
MHAA users can now MHAA users can now undo marking legal scrutiny as complete for forms and admissions.
This allows you to reopen forms and admissions when further actions are required, e.g. requesting an amendment
Undo Legal Scrutiny is available for all form types, including:
Assessments
MHA forms
SOAD assessments
Key rules and safeguards
You can only Undo Legal Scrutiny status within 14 days of marking it complete.
Any MHA Status previously set using Update the MHA Status at the time scrutiny was completed will be retained (it will not change when the form is reopened).
Step-by-step: How to use Undo Legal Scrutiny
Find the relevant admission that has been marked as Legal Scrutiny complete.
Click Action
Click Open
Select Undo on the legal scrutiny banner at the top of the admission.

Choose a reason for reopening the form:
An amend is required
A file note is required
Other
Provide some additional information
Click confirm to reopen the form (or close to cancel).
What happens after reopening
The form or admission is reopened and and further actions can be completed.
The MHA Status remains unchanged.
Once updates are complete, legal scrutiny must be marked as complete again.

You won’t see the Undo Legal Scrutiny option if:
