How to invite a Doctor to an assessment (without Dr Finder)

Once you have found the patient, you can share the assessment to a doctor you already know within eMHA;

  • Click Start Form next to Admission Forms
  • Select Invite Doctor for MHA Assessment

You will then see two options:

1. Help me find a doctor

  • Search for available Section 12 doctors near the assessment location based on their availability and specialisms.
  • Send an invitation directly to a specific doctor. This will share the patient information with the doctor via eMHA, they will then be able to complete any documentation within eMHA.

2. I know who to invite

  1. If you already know which doctor to invite, or have arranged this outside eMHA;

  • Click, 'I know who to invite'
    • If the doctor has a Thalamos account, enter their name
    • If the doctor does not have a Thalamos account, enter their email address
      • You can send forms to a doctor even if they do not have a Thalamos account (guest user)
  • Click 'Add recipient'
    • You can add multiple recipients if needed
  • Click 'Send'
  • If the doctor is invited as a guest, they will receive:
    • a secure link to access the patient's details
    • a one-time code to sign in
    • access to start the medical recommendation
