How to create a patient

How to create a patient

You should always first search for a patient by their NHS number or demographics. If no match is found, you can create a patient.
  1. Go to ‘SEARCH PATIENT’ and select ‘CREATE PATIENT’.
  2. Enter the patient’s information. You must complete all fields to create the patient. If you do not know the patient’s date of birth you can select ‘No’.
  3. Once you create a patient, everyone within your organisation will be able to search for this patient.
