Yes, click send in the bottom right hand corner of the page. You can also forward the email notification.
BTP Officer can amend the form up until they had ‘ended the incident’ (closed the form). If they amend something on the form this will be automatically updated for the NHS. Therefore, if something is incorrect on the form, and the BTP Officer is still present you can request for them to edit the form on their device. You cannot request an amend through eMHA. Therefore if you would like the form amended after the BTP officer has ‘closed the form’, you will need to do this outside of eMHA.
Can I add a file note?
No, currently you cannot add a file note for a s136 form.
Can I upload to Rio?
No, currently you cannot upload a s136 form directly from eMHA to Rio. However, we are working on this functionality.
Is there a s136 MHA status?
No there is no specific s136 eMHA status. The status will show as ‘UKNOWN’ unless the MHA status is manually updated or the record is merged into another patient record.
When will this appear in the team caseload?
If you have been send the form by a BTP officer, it will appear in your your team caseload once either you or a member of your team has accepted the form by confirming the details are correct. If you have been sent the form by an NHS colleague this will automatically appear in the caseload.
If someone within your organisation has accepted the form, you can search for the patient record in eMHA to access the form.
If you cannot find the patient record please search by demographics as the record may not have an NHS number associated with it.
