Only you have access to the information you enter into Thalamos, you decide who to share this information with. The Thalamos team do not have access to anything other than your professional details, so we can make sure only registered professionals are using the service. All information on the platform is encrypted at rest and in transit. So you can coordinate your assessment safe in the knowledge that your forms are secure.

Yes. Once complete the forms are identical to the statutory forms, just a digital version. When completing a form, you might notice that the forms aren’t quite identical to the pink ones you are used to completing. This is because they have been simplified to make them less clunky, quicker and easier to complete.
Thalamos is a web application, so you won’t find it on an App Store. This is for security and IG reasons. It is possible to save it to your home screen however, like you would a normal app. This works differently depending on whether you are using an android or apple device.
Each form needs to be completed and sent separately.
Forms will be sent from within the Thalamos system directly to AMHP colleagues, nursing colleagues and MHA Admin colleagues. You can only share forms to people with a NHS or Gov email address. if you're trust is using Thalamos on a large scale, refer to the Local Policy Guidance of a list of sites. If you'd like a copy of your Local Policy Guidance, get in touch with your project lead or support@thalamos.co.uk.
You can download forms from Thalamos Assess to your own computer/ system if you need to. However we recommend that you send all forms through Thalamos Assess. This is so there is an audit trail, to assist version control and to keep the patient information secure. If you do donwload a form, it is important to delete it from your donwload folder afterwards.
Currently MHA Admin must download forms from Thalamos Assess and attach them to the EHR. In time they will automatically be uploaded from Thalamos Assess.
Click on Account Settings at the top right of any page, then click Profile. You will see a green button saying Change Password.
All your completed forms are stored in the YourForms section.
Yes, you can still send a form to someone even if they do not have a Thalamos account. Enter their name and their email address in the recipient boxes. They will then receive an email notification that they have been sent a form and will be able to log in to view and complete the form using their name and the email address the form was sent to.
Unfortunately, once you have saved and signed the form you will not be able to edit the form and therefore you will have to complete a new form. This is due to the rules around electronic signatures and documents being “locked” for editing once signed. We are actively working on a solution so that you are able to “unlock” amend and then re-sign the documents with a log of all changes being kept.
